What does the stay cover?
- Accommodation at the Fintoc House in CDMX or Santiago for 1 year, fully furnished.
- Flight to Mexico or Chile, covered by Fintoc.
- A full-time job at Fintoc with a competitive salary and work equipment provided.
- The days that you go to the office, you’ll get lunch!
Is it remote or on-site?
- This is an on-site position. You will live and work in CDMX or Santiago.
What level of english do I need?
- You must have advanced english skills. English is used for technical discussions and documentation.
How long does the selection process take?
The entire process typically takes between 1 to 4 weeks.
Step-by-step process:
- Application: Submit your profile (CV, GitHub, LinkedIn, etc.).
- First Interview: A short video call to understand your background.
- Technical Challenge: Solve 3 coding challenges to showcase your skills.
- Second interview: A video call with one of the founders.
- Cultural interview: A video call with a few team members to get to know you better and make sure we're on the same page.
What to expect at the Fintoc house
- A collaborative, startup-like atmosphere where you live with other talented people.
- A balance between focused work and social interaction.
- An apartment just 20 minute walk from the office, close to social hubs in the city.
- Walkable location—get anywhere on foot.
How many people live in the Fintoc House at the same time?
The house can accommodate up to four people at a time.
What happens after the year at the Fintoc House? Is the contract renewed? Is there support to stay in Mexico or Chile?
- After one year, your contract could be re-evaluated but without housing sponsorship.
- Our goal is for you to stay at Fintoc, so possible options include:
- Transitioning to remote work if you prefer to return to your home country.
- Exploring long-term residency options in Mexico or Chile.
